Roller doors have good insulation values. Each lath section is 77mm high and 19.5mm thick filled with high density PU foam. There is a EPDM rubber seal on the bottom to seal and drafts along with sealing brush strips the run down the guides to get those drafts out. Additional seals can be installed for uneven floors or we can have the bottom edge of the door chamfered to suit a floor that slopes. 

Roller doors come electric for higher security and to make your life easier. At the press of a button the garage door opens and closes automatically with the option to add integration into your smart phone. The doors also have an optical safety edge built into the bottom rubber seal to stop and reverse the door should there be an obstruction. 

We can also supply the doors as manual with a spring loaded mechanism to make it easy to open and close.

One question we get asked regularly is about space requirements, particularly when maximising garage storage or accommodating larger vehicles. A huge advantage of roller garage doors is that there are no horizontal tracks extending back into the garage, as the entire door curtain rolls neatly into a compact box above the opening, often as small as 250mm. This leaves the ceiling space completely clear, making it ideal for lighting, storage, or simply creating a more open feel. Side room requirements can also be minimised, with installations between the opening requiring as little as 75mm per side, or the guides can be fitted behind the opening internally to maximise the full drive-through width available.

When it comes to security, roller garage doors offer excellent protection for your home. As standard, they are manufactured from strong double-skinned aluminium slats with an insulated core, creating a robust barrier against forced entry. The door curtain runs within secure side guides and is driven by a powerful electric motor with integrated locking, making it extremely difficult to lift from the outside. All of our roller doors are also  fitted with reinforced locking systems, anti-snap straps to prevent the curtain from being forced upwards, and an integrated alarm that activates if an intrusion attempt is detected. Combined, these features provide outstanding security and complete peace of mind that your garage and its contents are well protected.

The options list available for roller garage doors is extensive with 16 standard colours to chose from with an addition 15 colours available with laminate overlay. There is the ability to add windows in either clear or frosted finish.
