Side hinged garage doors offer a practical and traditional alternative to overhead garage doors, providing easy pedestrian access without the need to fully open the garage.


Single Skin Steel (Non-Insulated)

This entry-level option is manufactured from single skin steel with internal bracing. It is supplied with a basic lever handle and single point locking as standard. This door style is ideal for customers looking for a traditional appearance without additional features or insulation requirements. A wide range of styles and colours are available.


20mm Insulated Steel

Constructed from twin skinned steel with a 20mm polyurethane foam core, this option offers improved thermal performance while retaining a traditional hinged design. Single point locking is supplied as standard, with an optional upgrade to three-point locking. Doors are available in a wide range of styles and colours, with the choice of false or genuine windows. Typical U value is approximately 2.4 W/m²K.


40mm Insulated Steel

Manufactured from twin skinned steel with a 40mm polyurethane foam core, this door provides enhanced insulation and security. Three-point locking is supplied as standard. Customers can choose from lever or bar handle options, along with false or genuine windows in clear, opaque, or tinted glazing. Typical U values start from around 1.4 W/m²K.


40mm Insulated Steel with Thermally Broken Frame

This option offers the same construction, styles, colours, glazing, and hardware options as the standard 40mm insulated door, but with a thermally broken frame for improved thermal efficiency. Typical U value is approximately 1.2 W/m²K.


60mm Insulated Steel

Our highest specification side hinged door features a 60mm thick insulated door leaf combined with a thermally broken frame. This option provides the best thermal performance while retaining the same range of styles, colours, and design options available across the range.
